your center channel should really be higher off the floor and on some Studio Monitor Isolation Pads so it doesnt rattle. having it play thru that metal shelf is not ideal

I have a few questions as I’m working on a floor plan for a similar sized area, hoping you wouldn’t mind answering them. 1) How tall is your ceiling? 2) How much space is between the top of the projector and the screen? 3) How far away are your seats from the screen?
Hi! I have been trying to have HA control Alexa routines and have gotten a little frustrated because I don’t know how to set the trigger for it on HA and how to set it up on Alexa itself. Can you help me out?
The Dashboard of the phone and tablet is on the Alexa app? I’m from mexico and the Alexa app looks different doesn’t have icons for movie preview , cinema eat .. etc
Can you do a new video on smart outdoor landscape/accent lighting? I’m looking for path lights, uplighting (spot lights) for the front view of the house, and something like a strip light or the mini spotlights like the Sylvania Garden Spots (discontinued?) for going along the backyard fence, all full color and fully customizable for automations and seasonal scenes. Seems like there aren’t a lot of reasonable options outside of Hue that can be reliably programmed with a Hub like Home Assistant (and I have managed to avoid Hue thus far!). I’d even be down for outdoor rated color smart bulbs for things like the path lights and house spotlights, to put into small outdoor garden lighting fixtures!

Hi, im curious how did u manage to get the lights to dim and or shut off/ turn on when you press the play button of the movie. What kind of software or device did you use. Great setup, grettings from Panama
Great Video once again. I’ve been trying to find someone that has automated the lights on the chair. That’s something I haven’t figured out yet. Also, you can flip the LED lights on the bottom on the chair to point away from the screen so you won’t get that glow when reclining.

I’ve been wanting to buy light strips, specifically those from Philips Hue, but I’m not seeing a ZHA integration in Home Assistant, and I don’t really wanna setup Z2M. Not sure what to do.

I’m very much into automation, RGB lights and utilizing our shared space as an all-in-one room for hosting, big movie sound and the conveniences and comforts of home – we even have a wet bar and bar table behind the main seating in common! We have very similar spaces and I look forward to coming back to this video for reminders of what I need to add to our space.

I am going to be moving soon and will be converting the bonus room into a home theater. The biggest question I have is seating distance. Your seating distance to the 120" screen seems close. What is your seating distance and how comfortable do you find it?
